About our work:


Utilising artists from a wide range of different cultures and genres of music - singers, drummers, musicians, dancers, dj’s and music technologists - Drum Runners tailor make workshops, projects and performances.


We work with schools (all ages), colleges, work places, immigration removal centres, community groups, youth clubs, special needs groups, SureStart centres, local authorities, theatres, voluntary organisations, festivals, police authorities, health authorities, sports centres and clubs, arts centres and housing associations.
We always encourage cross community partnerships.



Our current projects:


Basingstoke Live Festival – providing events management for Basingstoke & Deane Borough Council’s annual live music festival.


MID (Music in Detention) – providing monthly workshops and community exchanges in and around Immigration Removal Centres in both Gosport and Bedford with a wide range of artists. Supported by the national charity MID (www.musicindetention.org.uk)


SureStart – providing weekly series of both singing and percussion workshops for under 5’s and their families.

Music, entertainment and family fun will all be on offer when Basingstoke Live returns for its second year from July 11 to 13.

Back bigger and better than before, the free music festival will be jam-packed with an exciting mix of live performances from local, national and international acts.

Headline performers on the main stage will include the legendary cockney duo Chas and Dave and Neville Staple (ex-The Specials).
