About us

Drum Runners Trading are a partnership of Paul Midgley and Jason Knight. 

Both Paul and Jason used to work for Traditional Arts Projects (TAPS) as Associate Artistic Director and General Manager respectively. 

When TAPS had to close its doors in April 2008 they joined together to continue to deliver some of the work they had developed with the organisation. 

Initially that work was for MID (Music In Detention) working in Immigration Removal Centres and their surrounding communities.  That work continues, and has developed further, but now Drum Runners delivers much, much more with a number of ongoing projects, one off workshops and festival events management.

Employing a number of freelance artists from a wide range of cultures and disciplines we work all across the South East of England and beyond.
